Buyer's Remorse: Did Marquette Make Smart Decision Hiring Shaka From TX?

It isn't "just a knife fight (according to social scholars)" and doesn't always pan out for a big-time university after hiring a coach from a fellow power league member. Naturally, it's too early to judge new Marquette mentor Shaka Smart although he struggled mightily in NCAA playoff competition with Texas. After leaving Virginia Tech, the jury is also still out on Buzz Williams at Texas A&M (24-24 mark in 2019-20 and 2020-21).
